Welcome to Gaunt Golf Design Limited, International Golf Course Architects, the UK-based golf course architecture practice of Jonathan Gaunt.
Jonathan Gaunt has been a golf course architect all his working life. He qualified as a landscape architect in 1987 and in 1993 went on to achieve a Diploma in Golf Course Architecture, with the British Institute of Golf Course Architects. He has been a Senior Member of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects since 1997.

They range from high profile golf resort courses, with housing developments or luxury hotel courses with housing development, often in new and emerging markets; to golf course restoration projects, where a sense of history of the place and of the game of golf have been crucial. We also undertake the sensitive reconstruction or renovation works on courses seeking to update and stay competitive.
Whatever the scale or profile of the project, we design golf courses which are both tactically exciting and environmentally sympathetic. We have built golf courses on difficult and challenging sites; involving colliery waste, landfill, heathland, mountainsides, flood plains - most of which are ecologically delicate. We have the experience, the resources and the vision to transform our hand-drawn designs into stunning computer-generated imagery, through to reality on site, with access to some of the best golf course project managers and specialist consultants in the business.
