Kaskada Golf Resort (Jinacovice, Brno) Czech Republic
This Jonathan Gaunt designed golf course in Brno, Moravia is a first for the region. Challenging in its nature, the course features gently undulating greens, multiple teeing positions, numerous lakes and strategically placed bunkers - all surrounded by mature oak forest.
On a site developed with partial Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews and European Union funding by local mechanical engineering company Alta a.s., the 27-hole golf course, 6-hole golf academy and 300 metre driving range has been built to a very high standard by Czech contractors under the supervision of British project manager Chris Johnson.
All facilities were opened for play on 3rd June 2007 by Mirek Topolánek, Prime Minister, Czech Republic.
