Growing-in
Once a golf course is complete, bringing it into play is a highly specialist job.
Gaunt Golf Design provides an advisory service throughout the growing-in period, working closely with the golf course maintenance team. Consultation continues right up to and beyond the day the course first opens for play. We believe that this a shared investment in the long-term vision for the golf course to ensure its economic success and longevity.
- Regular site visits with the course superintendent
- Marking out of sand bunker areas and fairway mowing patterns
- The provision of a final coloured course masterplan and scorecard
- Attendance at the golf course opening day
