The original 9-hole golf course at Hennerton was built in 1992 but due to intense demand, the owner decided to extend the course to 18-holes in 2003.
Securing approval for the planning application was the first of many difficult challenges, as the site is within The Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in beautiful chalk downland overlooking the Thames Valley and home to badgers, newts and orchids. The result is a stunning new golf course that winds its way carefully through the undulating countryside surrounded by protected oak woodland.
